With one week to go, before Central Europe’s largest in-water show, Ilirija d.d. has registered 240 exhibitors

The 22nd Biograd Boat Show, organized and hosted by Ilirija d.d, is ready to open its doors to exhibitors and visitors on Wednesday, October 21, and despite the new circumstances, all epidemiological measures will be met, and the show will maintain Its tradition as the largest in-water boat show in Central Europe.

Due to current circumstances, the fair has been extended to five days, and will be held within the open space of the Four Anchors, Marina Kornati, and the third largest marina in Croatia. Ilirija safely hosted tourists in its facilities this season, and its professionals are working in close cooperation Zadar County Civil Headquarters and epidemiologists to provide the highest standards of safety for exhibitors and visitors to.

The number of boats that will be exhibited will be near the record number of 2019. On land, the number will be similar to last year, while in the water, only pier 6 will see a slight decrease.  The lifting of German and Slovenian travel restrictions to Zadar County, significantly increased the response of larger vessels up to 20 meters, and strengthened the international component of the show.

The Biograd Boat Show is known for the festive atmosphere of Biograd, a coastal town that lives uniquely with this event with exhibitors and guests. This year, the festive atmosphere will continue but in a safer and more responsible manner.  Visitors requiring Covid 19 testing can do so in the Lobby of The Hotel Adriatic in Biograd on Friday, Oct. 23rd from 11am-2pm, and on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 24thand 25th from 12pm-3pm.

Thanks to the support of the City of Biograd and the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and the Croatian Tourist Board, which have provided important support for the show, particularly in the development of Business to Business activities.  The Biograd "B2B", business networking event for the nautical sector, unique to the Biograd Boat Show, plays an ever increasing role now allows nautical businesses to participate remotely and schedule meetings via Zoom video chat.

We are proud of the role of Croatian Chamber of Commerce in their organization of the 4th Croatian Chamber of Commerce Nautical Days, with an extensive congress program which has been extended to three days (from 21 to 23 October) and brings together marine associations, government agencies, and private companies.

As part of Biograd B2B, the Croatia Charter Expo, located in Hall D at marina Kornati West, and on pier 14 is one of the world’s most important events for the yacht charter industry. The exhibiting charter companies have more than 1600 yachts under direct management, and will meet with charter brokers and suppliers.

As a Gold Member of the International Federation of Boat Show organizers, Ilirija d.d. has taken the most professional health and safety measures, and would like to thank all visitors in advance for understanding and adhering to all epidemiological measures, which will be clearly provided at the show entrances.
