Italian Canelli Yachts launches second new model

Canelli Yachts, founded in 2012, has extended its range to two models with the launch of the new 9.76m (32ft) Canelli 30 adding to its larger Canelli 43 model. This new model comes in two versions, namely the Open version and the T-Top version. Both models offer a one-level walk-around deck plus the flexibility to have two cabins, one forward and one aft plus the aft deck space can be offered for different uses to meet client needs of this high performing day cruiser.

With the two-model range, the Open version features what is arguably the largest entertainment deck in the 30ft market segment. The T-Top version takes that deck and covers it in shade and weather protection provided by a very large GRP T-top. To do the best to achieve a state-of –the-art design, Canelli made a large input into R&D, and collaboration. The resultant design is by Carlos Vidal, while the stepped-hull and naval architecture, with its performance and sporty character is by Sasha Vlad.

The Canelli 30 has a twin-stepped hull with a low planning threshold and can be powered by:

- a single or twin outboard 450hp petrol engines or

- a single inboard V8 - 430hp petrol engine with Duo Prop - Stern Drive or

- twin inboard V8 - 430hp petrol engine with Duo Prop - Stern Drive.

- single inboard 6L - 440hp diesel engine with Duo Prop - Stern Drive or

- twin inboard 4L -320 hp diesel engine with Duo Prop - Stern Drive.

The speed range area for the range is 53-55kts. The new boat offers a spacious cabin with good standing headroom in the bathroom (2m) and the possibility to sleep up to four people down below. This one-level deck on a ’30ft with cabin’ offers large and safe passageways on both sides creating easy access to all areas of the deck.

The bow offers a large, wide and comfortable settee that can be converted into a sun-bed, while the aft deck offers a spacious open air galley with three choices of standard aft deck arrangement. These choices are either a dining table with comfortable settees on both sides positioned transversally or longitudinally, can convert into a large sun-bed or a fixed, comfortable sun-bed with an adjustable sliding backrest. Underneath is an extra-large storage space which is easily accessible.

The helm console on the Canelli 30 is completely focused on functionality and driving experience, offering all around visibility while retaining luxury. It is perfectly designed to incorporate the latest steering systems and multi-function displays. The customer can choose an Alcantara-clad wide pilot bench or up to three individual, bolstered sport seats, all with stand-up function which give the owner a high degree of stability when steering.
