Adria Libar maritime & yachting training centre, a renowned institution for maritime and nautical education and culture, celebrated an extraordinary jubilee this year - 10 years of Yachting & Wine meetings, and thus announced the celebration of 35 years of the college's work The Yachting & Wine meeting celebrated its anniversary in April with an unforgettable get-together that brought together lovers of sailing and top wines. This year's celebration was also an opportunity to reflect on achievements, plans for the future, but above all thanks for the friendship that marked this unique event, a synonym for socializing in a natural environment in the Šibenik region at the Baraka Winery location.
Since its inception, Yachting & Wine meetings have not only been a gathering but also an opportunity to connect and exchange ideas among experts from the nautical industry. The tenth anniversary celebration was another hedonistic, homely and gastronomic experience.
"Ten years of the Yachting & Wine meeting represents an incredible success and symbolizes our commitment to the promotion of nautical. Aware of how we have maintained continuity even in challenging times, we would like to thank everyone who is building this successful story with us - lecturers, employees, advisors, partners, media", said the director of Adria Libar Renata Knežić Rak.
"This event has become a tradition that brings people together, it will encourage the exchange of knowledge and experiences, promoting the beauty and charms of sailing and wine", said the owner of the Baraka winery and led the guests through the wine cellars, revealing the secrets of wine production.
The gathering continued with a lecture by Green Sail and Ornela Krežić on the preservation of natural resources and the promotion of sustainable practices for the future in nautical tourism. And this year, along with a superb menu, jazz & blues rhythm, we enjoyed tasting the wines of the Baraka winery, which respect the terroir and the Šibenik climate, with a view of 10,500 vines on the 4-hectare estate.
