Croatia Charter Expo celebrates fifth successful edition amidst Central Europe's in-water nautical show

BIOGRAD NA MORU - The Croatia Charter Expo, the highly anticipated event that brings together the world of yacht charter, marked its fifth consecutive year with resounding success. This year's event, held from October 25th to October 26th, took place in the picturesque coastal town of Biograd na Moru, Croatia, as a part of Central Europe's largest in-water nautical show.

The feedback from exhibitors and visitors alike has reaffirmed that this year's Croatia Charter Expo was the most successful to date. The quality of registered participants reached new heights, and attendees expressed their excitement about the increased number of business meetings that transpired over the course of the two-day event. One of the standout features of this year's Expo was the proactive collaboration of fleet operator exhibitors, who invited only the best yacht charter agent partners to the show. This careful curation of participants contributed to the event's overall success.

The Croatian National Tourist Board played a pivotal role in making this year's Expo a ground-breaking success. Their valuable support allowed fleet operators to treat their most valuable yacht charter broker partners with accommodation and travel expense vouchers, as well as complementary business passes. Also, Croatian exhibitors benefited from the support by receiving subsidies to lower the cost of their participation. The strategy of supporting yacht charter brokers to attend in greater numbers rather than traditional advertising paid off. The result was a significant increase in the number of attendees, with more than 1000 overall meetings registered on the Biograd B2B meeting platform, making it a resounding success.

The Croatia Charter Expo featured a total of 103 registered companies and nearly 350 accredited business participants, making it the largest and most successful edition to date. The event's timing in late October proved ideal for industry professionals to discuss sales conditions for the upcoming season and to fine-tune the service quality standards offered to clients. With over 60% of participants being local companies, primarily fleet operators, yacht charter brokers from around the world had the unique opportunity to experience the beauty of the Croatian archipelago as a premier nautical destination. Nearly 50 yacht charter broker companies were thrilled with the chance to visit local charter bases, test new yacht models, and meet suppliers at the Biograd Boat Show.

The Biograd Boat Show, also known for its congress and entertainment program, offered participants more than just a platform for business networking. It provided a holistic experience that participants cherished. Looking ahead to the future, organizers are already preparing for the next year's event. The Croatia Charter Expo will continue its tradition of excellence, with the 2024 edition scheduled to be held in the last week of October, from October 23rd to October 24th, 2023. The anticipation is already building for what promises to be another remarkable gathering of industry leaders, stakeholders, and enthusiasts.
