Nautical patrol 2021 starts

This year's Nautical patrol of Jutarnji list was launched, now traditionally, in the ACI marina in Ičići, which also celebrated its 38th birthday. Croatian National Tourist Board Director Kristjan Staničić participated in the opening of the project, and on that occasion pointed out that nautical tourism is safe and high quality and that this year it is recording double-digit growth.

"Jutarnji's nautical patrol is an important project for the promotion of nautical tourism, which is the icing on the cake of Croatian tourism," said Staničić, adding that he expects to reach 60 percent of tourist traffic this year compared to pre-pandemic 2019.

The floating editorial office, as it was called by the editor-in-chief of Jutarnji list Goran Ogurlić, will visit a total of 35 Croatian marinas over the next two months, from Umag in Istria, where they have already started, all the way to the extreme south of Croatia. The ratings rank the best Croatian marinas and bring a series of reports, conversations and interesting facts related to the destinations they visit. This year, too, the emphasis is on connecting the blue and green highways, so that the patrol also brings a series of reports from family farms, in which boaters can find a variety of quality products from domestic manufacturers.
