Review of the Absolute Opera in Šibenik

Adriatic Wave held their third Absolute Yachts promotional event this year at Marina Mandalina in Šibenik on June 26th, and the Croatia Yachting Review was there to experience the event first hand.  Named the Absolute Opera, the event featured a range of Absolute models shown throughout the day at Marina Mandalina to an exclusive guest list, with the highlight being the Absolute Navetta 73. 

The event also served to introduce the new and very innovative Absolute 60 Fly model which will make its world debut in Cannes in September.  This first vessel was purchased by Adriatic Wave, and we could see some of the guests were excited at the possibility of being the model's first owner.

The guests were treated to rooms at the luxury D-Resort Hotel overlooking the marina, and changed for the opera's second act held at the poolside lounge.  Here the guests were treated to a 5 course meal specially prepared by guest chefs Vjeko Bašić from Boba in Murter, and Ante Božikov from Konoba Opat.  The evening progressed with a spectacular music and light show featuring a saxophonist and elegant violinist amidst a parade of illuminated yachts.  The final act of the opera was held at the rooftop Moet & Chandon Champagne Bar, offering a 360 degree panoramic view. The event was a true spectacle in grand operatic fashion!

The Navetta 73 has been chosen as the feature product of the event, as it represents a continuation of Absolute’s forward thinking design philosophy which has combined classic lines with excellent special utilization.  The Navetta 73 feels like a much larger yacht, offering a more luxurious experience, while maintaining good berthing and maneuvering capabilities.
