MORE YACHTS GOING HYBRID

More Yachts, recognized internationally as a manufacturer of top performance cruiser sailboats is turning to the production of yachts that can achieve carbon neutral performance.

In cooperation with the Cossutti Yacht Design studio and a local company Pulse Yacht Design, the new MORE 50 will have a hybrid diesel/electric propulsion system that will allow for long range, carbon neutral cruising with diesel back up.

By taking advantage of the light weight of its advanced vacuum infusion hull and its new proprietary hybrid propulsion technology, the new MORE 50 will allow for superior sailing characteristics and long cruising on electric power.

The interior was designed with the help of Pulse Yacht Design and will exude luxury and comfort, with numerous layout options to satisfy the wishes of potential buyers.

With this project, MORE YACHTS has made the strategic decision to turn to more environmentally friendly, high-performance cruiser sailboats and in the future will adapt this new technology to their complete line of vessels. Over time, the goal is to completely eliminate the need for fossil
fuel-powered engines, and to become the leader in offering a carbon neutral alternative in the performance cruiser sailboat market.

The first MORE 50 is scheduled to sail the Adriatic Sea in the summer 2021.
